If you like metal and you like Metroid, then check out Metroid Metal. They’ve got a couple tracks you can listen to over here. Be sure to pre-order that bad boy if you like what you hear. It’s a crazy good deal.

Nerdy Show 2.0

So, now it looks like I’m a co-host of the Nerdy Show. I’m not sure how that happened, but I’m just gonna keep my head down and my mouth shut and hope no one notices. Hey, it’s gotten me this far, I’m sticking with it. Check out our first show right here.
Hex, Cap, and Mike were great as always. They’ve been doing this for a while, so they’re all pro about it and doing technical stuff and prepared with notes and topics and so on. Me? I had a 32 ounce bucket filled with ice and Dr. Pepper so I could stay awake past my bedtime.
A little closer to home, we’re celebrating the triumphant return of incredibly depressing Warbot in Accounting comics with a T-shirt! You can wear it right on your body!
And be sure to check out some behind-the-scenes action for Atomic Robo’s Free Comic Book Day 2010 story.
I got in over my head with these prints.

And I’m sorry. I didn’t plan ahead well enough, and I haven’t had the money to really get these prints printed and sent out after I paid my bills.
They are being printed right now though. But slowly, and only when I can afford it. If all goes as planned, the first batch of prints should be sent out early next week. But then again, I’ve still got to make rent in less then a week.
Hopefully, someone will fund a little project of ours, and then I’ll have the prints out almost immediately. That preview wasn’t exactly cheap, but I have no regrets. I’m really looking forward to doing more with this and I can’t wait to have good news for you guys about it.
If anyone has a problem with waiting just a little bit longer for the prints, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
In other less depressing news, we’ve got a new Warbot in Accounting online. Well, I guess that’s actually kind of depressing, huh?
The Latest

So, my copy of Pathfinder arrived today. It is not only the largest RPG book I’ve ever owned (575 pages with the index), but it’s also the only 3rd ed or 3.5 ed book I’ve ever owned. I just never needed the damn things. Every time I showed up to a game, we’d be swimming in Player’s Handbooks and Monster Manuals. Adding another batch of books to the pile was beyond redundant. I’ve only had a chance to flip through it — longingly, I assure you — but it’s a gorgeous book. Full color and great art that’s easily on par with Exalted 2nd ed without all the creepy nekkid demons.
I’m not sure why I was so excited to get this thing. The odds of me ever playing it are next to nothing. I guess I wanted a (better balanced) piece of pre-4th ed D&D that could live forever on my shelf. I gotta hankerin’ to make a cool archer kind of dude who will never, ever get to see the light of day. What’s a good build to go with?
For all you favored sons and daughters of the future, the iPhone is now home to more Atomic Robo comics. Both FCBD stories are available for free and every issue of Volume 2 is on sale for ninety-nine cents each. You can get all of ’em with ComiXology’s app. Volume 2 will be available through iVerse as well, but not yet because of dumb bureaucratic reasons on Apple’s end of the equation that I only pretend to understand.

We are back from The State That Shan’t Be Named.
Again, I would like to take this opportunity to dispel any inklings of hints of ideas that I’m from Alabama. Many people are, and that’s fine for them, but I was born and raised in the horrible swamps of Florida. Big difference!
8-bit Theater will be back to updating as usual starting Tuesday. I hope you’ll join us. Zack claims we’ll see a new Warbot comic this week, but I’m not counting my chicks before they hatch into a cold and unforgiving world. And How I Killed Your Master should power through on Mondays and Fridays like clockwork because we have an actual buffer on that thang. Be on the look out for all new online exclusive Atomic Robo pages to start popping up in a couple weeks. Fun!
Oh, and I revamped our RSS feeds. You can now subscribe to everything or just the comic(s) you want.
