In case I don’t gush about Pathfinder enough.

Okay, so Pathfinder is a great game. I’ve talked about it before, but for those of you who missed our or have brains like goldfish, it’s a straight port of D&D 3.5 with tons — actual metric and long tons — of little changes to streamline and balance your D&D experience for those of us who aren’t so hot on 4th ed.
The only complaint I’ve heard about this book is that it’s expensive. It ought to be. At 576 fully color, high-quality, glossy pages it’s easily the best RPG product I’ve ever owned. It retails for $50, but you can grab Pathfinder at Amazon for under $40 with shipping.
If you’re still worried about taking that financial plunge, or don’t feel like waiting for the 1 – 2 month shipping time (seriously, what, mine showed up in like 3 days) you can find the full rules online! Like, legally. Here’s Paizo’s official SRD for Pathfinder. Here’s another one I found earlier today with better readability. And, yeah, they have everything you need to play your game. All the rules, classes, character progression charts, all that jazz. Paizo is making quite a statement by putting their product out there, in full, for free, without any restrictions or hoop jumps.

I’m so tiny in this world of nightmares

So, what’s happenin’?
I finished the super rush job thang that delayed Tuesday’s page, so, y’know, score. I never wrote so much my back hurt, but here we are. Hopefully we’ll have some amazing news on that hitherto top secret front in the coming weeks. Tuesday night saw another installment of The Nerdy Show pierce the veil of reality. Or, I dunno, I was reading Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine the whole time. There’s a curtain in the room where we do the recording and that’s like a veil.
The fifth and final issue of Atomic Robo and the Shadow from Beyond Time came out yesterday. Check out the six page preview to find out why your life is a hollow, ugly thing without it. For you mongrel trade waiters out there, among whom I definitely absolutely 100% do not belong get away from my bookshelves shut up — the collected edition will be available in early December. It may include bonus mini-stories that didn’t make it into the issues themselves! Or, come to think of it, I’d rather see those in Vol 4 issues so no one’s screwed out of content. I’ll make a few phone calls, break some legs, get that rolling. B-Clev’s got your back.
I’ll leave you with this. Among my top secret projects, there’s a little something we’re cooking up for 8-bit. Or is it somethings? The only barrier to this knowledge is the future and it is rapidly eroding.
Dude, where’s my timely reference?

Okay, folks. Long story short: a huge potentially life-changing opportunity fell into my lap. I had two weeks to fulfill my duties for this project when I originally signed on, which would have given me ample time to tend to all my responsibilities. But due to crap I have no control over, the schedule went from two weeks to two days. So, sorry to say, I had to skip the Tuesday installment of 8-bit Theater to get this crap done. I’m sorry you guys are the ones who ultimately get the shaft here, but if things work out, you will be very excited.
In the meantime, just so you’re not completely up shit creek without an update, here’s another wallpaper from How I Kill Your Master‘s own Matt!
Okay, so that preview doesn’t quite do its job, but click them links and then you’ll see! And then it will stalk you in your nightmares, but it’s totally worth it!
Suddenly, I have the urge to mention that Matt is available for commissions again. Gosh, I wonder why that occurred to me just now…again. This bastard can draw, use that to your advantage!
