Some of you may have noticed the forums crapped out on us. For the purposes of this conversation we’ll pretend it’s not entirely my fault so I don’t look as incompetent as I may actually be. You may say it’s an empty gesture to save face, but to that I say shut the hell up.

Anyway, we’ve fixed it! Kinda! You can find the official home of our new forums right over here. Once we get the old databases up and running again, it should be more-or-less back to normal. But sign up in the meantime to get back in touch with your fellow nerds.

Scott Wegener is back in Boston for some reason this weekend. Maybe you’ll want to see him and other luminaries of the comic world. And then buy all kinds of crazy things. This would be your chance to do that and so much more! Some of it legal! Oh man!

Don’t say I didn’t warn you about this sort of thing.

And for the record, no, I have no idea what’s going on there. I suspect it only makes sense to the weary and abused mind of Mr. Speroni.

I’m sitting in the cafe area trying, and failing, to not look like the kind of jack ass who goes to chain bookstore cafes and sits around for hours with a laptop. From here I can see the Humor section. There’s a book over there, and you could probably find it at our own Borders, called Penis Book. It has a hole in the middle. I’m going to assume there’s a “hilarious” image on each page.

I’m tempted to buy the book just for the awkward silence between myself and the cashier.

And then for the more awkward silence when I return it the next day, obviously disappointed.

And then, when I see an employee restock it, I’ll know Borders is the kind of place that’ll put a book on their shelves despite having cause to believe a penis was all over it.

Just wanted to alert you fine folks to a brief delay in How I Killed Your Master pages due to poor planning on my part. Turns out you need to write pages before they can be drawn.

Well, okay, that’s not technically true, but it is preferable that they be written first.
